The purposes of FRIENDS OF KRVM include the following:

To provide financial and volunteer support to KRVM (a public radio station in Eugene, Oregon, licensed to School District 4J)  with the goal of supporting the station mission of providing educational opportunities for area students and programming that is of benefit to the community and publicly supported.

To educate the general public about the value and importance of publicly-supported, locally-controlled, and locally-produced radio for local news, entertainment, and community information.

To work collaboratively with, assist, and support non-profit organizations or agencies on events and projects that benefit the public, and especially children and families in our community.
